The 2010 memberships are now due (January) and must be paid no later than the end of February 2010.

This years membership has been calculated at £16 per member which includes full Sporting Dynamite membership along with Full UKCA membership.  As per the requirements of legislation this membership fee also includes a contribution towards the clubs insurance policy which covers all members, helpers, coaches and staff in the event of injury.

Please note:  As a condition of our insurance we have been instructed to tell our members that the Gymnastics/flexibility training that we run at the club is classed as a level 2 Hazardous Activity.  As proof we therefore request that all persons taking part in this training sign a document stating that they have been informed.

Our insurance company has informed us that this in no way affects or compromises our/your insurance cover or statutory rights.

So what's next at Sporting Dynamite PDF Print E-mail
Our next target are the Community Nationals Saturday 15th May 2010?

Every year UKCA hold their Nationals at Manchester Velodrome and the competition that Sporting Dynamite enter is The Community Nationals.

Last year was our first year and considering we only had a few months to practice both teams did fantastic securing a thirteenth and fourth position.  This year will be no easier as some children have left and others have joined which effectively means that we are starting from scratch with new teams.  Well not quite, we do have the knowledge that we have the ability to succeed and the coaches now understand whats required.  For some children this will be their second time so they should be more settled and therefore give a better account of themselves.

In all, we have a good chance, so as long as everybody tries hard and attends every session then 2010s competition should be as good if not better than 2009.

Quick Question PDF Print E-mail
Who do you think was the most improved cheerleader of 2009?

Before you answer, it's not all about who's the best, it's about who worked the hardest, who tried their heart out, who put in 110%, who is always there, who helps others, who always has a smile on their face, who cheers everyone up, who's a good friend, who's nice to other cheerleaders, who's come a long way since they came to the club, who is everything a Sporting Dynamite Cheerleader should be?

What should we do now? should we have an award? or maybe 2 - What do you think, any ideas, Let Alan know, it's your club, so have your say!
